I was on here this AM - then went to truck to get some stuff from trip to Bismarck ND after delivering some skid loader attachments .
Well set my coffee cup down and lost it - 10 minutes of looking and found where i sat it down - So went to finish what I was doing here and move on with day - EXCEPT
Could not find my glasses I use on computer - this after 2 days ago the main pair I used went missing . Looked for another 10 minutes retracing every place i had been in the house and was going to see if I left in truck - AND THEN half way to truck noticed my shirt pocket felt heavy - YEP WHERE I STORED THEM earlier . OTHER PAIR - have not found them in hunt !
All I do know is after 12 + hours of driving both wrists hurt and both thumbs do also , them shots I got last week in them seem to not be working well as I hoped .

I find myself making more late-night walks to the barn after I get in from doing chores. I wonder, did I hook the gate or barnyard door after I closed it? Or did I turn the water off if I was watering animals? I do this stuff out of routine and when I get to the house I don't remember if I did it or not.

Friend of mine started making a checklist for when chores were done rather than return to the barn lot, then he misplaced the lists at the barn.  Would find them days later in conspicuous yet kind of inadvertent set down spots.  Still has to go Back to the Barn every Night.

I remember my Dad at the local feed store talking with another Farmer and saying "You remember him " Old what's his name! He lived south of town. Used to milk cows! At the time I thought it was funny. Now I catch myself doing the same! Old what's his name !

Normal, I've lost a set of car keys.  It has to be in the house because I drove the car into the garage.  Had another key made without the fob hoping they show up someday.  What a process to get a chipped key made.

Don't sweat it, happens to me at only 44, mainly a sign I'm doing too much at once.

Actually now I think of it, I lost my car key for a week one time 20-odd years back too. When I eventually gave up hope of finding it and went to break into my car there it was, sat in the lock where I'd left it...
