The bad?? FWA doesn't turn short at all on 30 inch rows. Better when set for 38 inch rows but they still only have one knuckle at each king pin. Not the best when cold starting. Just a matter of starting management ie: ether, block heater, manifold heater, etc.  The good?? Powerful and fuel efficient. Nice operating platform and easy on/off. Pretty simple to work on. No computers.

We got 6 6080’s between uncle and I. The 2wd one's I really like the MFWD ones not so much. 16:1 compression ratio really helps starting. They make fantastic haying, fertilizer spreading and raking tractors poor loader tractors.

Make sure it has the support on the front bearing. It looks like it has had the rear rims replaced from original, same with the hydraulic pump.  It needs a cab kit.

Otherwise as it has been said great tractors and easy on fuel.  On/off is very easy and nice.  Cold starting varies by tractor.  The block heater works good, but is a pain to replace.   For the price, it is currently at it is well worth it.  4wd is pretty decent as well.  If you put a loader on one, they aren't too bad, just make sure to have one going to the rear axle.

I have 2 6080s and a 6070.  I spent quite a few hours on a 6060 with 4wd.

Late models do not have the front crank support  Internal modifications were made to prevent the thrust bearing issues.  Have not had any problems with mine yet.

I got a "newer" 6080 deutzallis with crank thrust bearings worn thru thrust bearings into the block, crank and block were junk....DO NOT TRUST THE INTERNAL THRUST BEARING, put a crank bra on it and keep pto lever fwd as much as possible.
I saw one at auction w bad crank endplay still running but oil leaks and clutch issues.
check crank endplay.
fwa tractor  will work as a good loader tractor, just dont go crazy. 2wd loader breaks steering spindles often.  They are good tractors, will start at -45f if plugged in out of the wind, bad delco ac comp change 2 sanden. most have 90-95hp...... solid tractor
