Danielle and Evie have been in Athens for the last 3 days attending All State Chorus. 7th through 12th graders from all over the state were sent to try out. Approximately 10,000 we're at the first try out. Approximately 1,500 made it to the finals. These are the all state performance attendees. There's about 300 in Evie's choir and out of those she got picked for 1 of 3 solos. Her performance is this afternoon and I can already feel the tears coming on. Got to get to the farm and get done so I can go. Me and Cora haven't seen them since Wednesday. First Valentine's Day I haven't been with Danielle in 23 years. Going to be a happy reunion in a little while

What a wonderful gift but i bet like any skill, it is backed by a heck of a lot of practice. Congratulations. I couldn't hit a note with a hammer

Thanks fellas. Yeah Dr is definitely a lot of practice. If she's not singing she's watching YouTube videos of how to hit different notes or harmonies or whatever.

Got a pocket full AC. Hope it's enough.

I have a video of her rehearsal. I'll see if I can get some help posting it

Thanks Joe. You can't really hear great in this video. This was a rehearsal and Danielle wasn't actually supposed to be there but when she gets her mind set you better look out. The conductor in front of her is the man that wrote the song and he's the one that chose her so she's singing his song to him. Has to be a bit nerve racking
