We use a sandblaster which seems to work alright...the only problem is you spend a fortune on sand and it could wreck seals...what are some other products used? ------------- "Better By Design" |

I use a produce called Super Strip that Sherwin Williams sells. It's a gell that soaks into the paint and after a short time you can just lift the paint off with a puddy knife. I don't let it get into my seals and it's hard on any thing plastic but it makes it easy to get the old paint off. It mixes with water so clean up is not bad.

Paint stripper from HDepot then sandblast. You say you spend a fortune on sand??? I use the premium playground sand from lowes, costs around 3.00$ per 50lbs. I then screen it through a window screen. I only use it once but I would imagine it could be used at least twice before the edges are gone.
