Been on a few. Ford-trucks.com was fair. Ramforum.com is one for Dodge trucks. My problem with most automotive forums I've been on is there's several JA's that would rather belittle somebody for not knowing something instead of helping.

Gave up on the JA's on those forums long ago, was explained I had nothing to offer on GM site then again on a Ford Site.  Had a few growl as to my no longer posting as helped them as easily as just thinking out a problem.  Others texted me to return with pretty please but I had given up.

How old of a vehicle you talking about?

I have cars that range from a 1951 Plymouth (p15-d24 forum) to a 1984 Chrysler "woody" convertible (EEK forum on Allpar). I am helping my son with his 1967 Dodge Charger and 1969 Plymouth Sport Satellite convertible so the "For B Bodies Only" forum have had some answers for us.

I also have a 1965 Rambler Marlin so the "AMC Forum" has been a Godsend for information. For general old car stuff if you are into original/stock appearing cars the AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America) forum is a good source for answers and general discussion of old cars.

.

I just watch Vice Grip Garage on YouTube.
Sometimes they even do tractors.

Junkyard Digs had a series finding abandoned fence row equipment to farm with.

Most of the FORUMS i see are DISCUSSIONS and help on how to fix things... Your looking for a SPECIFIC type for Classifieds.....Some dont have that.... Specialize in 1940- 60 PARTS ... might need more suggestions.

40's to 60's go to the HAMB (Hokey Ass Message Board). It's a forum for pre 60's autos. There's some pretty neat stuff there and some very helpful people but also a very good amount of JA's. It's also called The Jalopy Journal I think
