Good evening a’ll!!
Does anyone know of a place to get the early valves? Only need a few.
Don’t really want to upgrade it to the newer style valves, springs, and retainers .
Thanks

Do you have part numbers for what you are looking for, or maybe size specifications? I have some NOS parts left for the 201226 engines, but no parts books for the WC.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

I looked: All of the NOS upper engine 201/226 parts have been sold.
I do have a complete 201 head that was removed from a good running engine that I'd sell for $125. Although shipping a head would be expensive.

I'm guessing those are the valves with the big springs and big retainers. I scrap those all the time. Might have a few left. Nothing better than a freshly rebuilt head on these motors.

I have it in a head shop right now for pressure checking (it checked out good) and he’s also is checking the valves and springs. Some of the valves are pitted from rust (the engine is stuck and is in need of overhaul and this is part of it) so I need to talk to him and see exactly how many it needs.
Yes I think it would be the big keepers type of valve.
I’ll try to get some pictures to confirm it tomorrow.
Thanks!!!
