I think it's my crankshaft pulley that is broken.  Fan and power steering belts aren't turning when the tractor is running.  Looks like a cast iron piece is broke out of part next to where the crankshaft comes out.  How big of a job is it to get to this piece? Any tips or suggestions on how to get to and fix this part would be appreciated.

You really need to disassemble it to see actually what you need to do. If it is a Char-Lynn pulley causing the trouble you might need to get creative on a solution or buy a new double pulley all together.

To get to the Pulley:

   drain the Rad
   remove the Hood
   remove the Rad Cover Shell
remove the Rad, don't forget the 2 @ 3/4" socket bolts that are accessed
      from under the Rad.

Now I think the Crankshaft Pulley should be accessible.

I would be very concerned about what condition the crankshaft snout is in after this kind of failure.
