what is the torque specs and pattern for tightening the head bolts for a 50 B.

Start in the center and with a circular motion work your way to the ends.
60 foot pounds

Jeff just beat me to it.
When reinstalling,
tighten head nuts or cap screws
progressively and from the center outward.
Retighten after engine has
reached operating temperature. Tighten
models B, C, CA, and RC cap screws
to 60 foot pounds torque.
