Ot anything can stop where spent the last day dealing with 24 hr intestinal bug. Had I just been tired achey and the trots would not have been bad. All day event as if took colonoscopy prep and then the throwing up started. Swear I saw my socks from the inside.

Really tired and ache like beat with a stick today. Doc visit this morning said is going around and no vaccination to counter it.

Good health to everyone here, do not need this!

Try to slowly sip some blackberry wine, homemade if possible. No guarantees but it did help me with the running off at both ends once upon a time. Watch out for dehydration, Gatorade or Pedialyte will help but if it gets too bad you may have to go to a doc-in the-box or ER and get an IV. Hope you get over it quickly.

My mother in law swore by drinking flat Coke. Swore it worked for her. I couldn't do it being diabetic. Basically you get a bottled coca cola and shake it until it's flat then drink it. Don't know if it's a gulp it or sip it thing but I would think gulping would be rough

Thanks
Been doing Power Ade Zero and Propel mixes, at times just water.
Been easing back to life with the living, sleeping a LOT, ate a little broth soup tonight but really tired and ache all over still.

Novo virus is going crazy around here. Oral hydration is more effective than iv IF you can keep it down. Back in the day when i ran marathons, flat cola was a great hydration drink mid race. Lots of simple sugars, more electrolytes than you think and a nice anti emetic effect. Mexican coke is better than usa, surcrose versus high fructose corn syrup. Now when i go for a run, people stop me and ask if i need help

Just read where they recommend canned fruits in heavy syrup for nausea. Should be good and easy on the stomach.

Dave, I wishing you a speedy recovery, there is a product out there called Liveleaf gut rescue. I've used it in the past with great results fwiw. Stay hydrated most importantly.

Thanks all, and yes Am Making Notes!

Feeling better overall by the day, still weak and tired but at my age being weak and tired is pretty well normal.

Glad to hear you’re on the mend.
I’ve been lucky and missed out so far but what you have is going around here in a bad way.
