Just about finished with converting my 7040 over to an open station. I have been trying to keep it looking as authentic as possible.

You use the open station kit from Luke Roosenbom?
Fenders are 200?

Yes sir. Luke has a good product. Fenders are from a late 190xt so ya (same as 200).

I'm planning to do the same, might try to make the single light but key plate too.

The 190/200 fenders bolt right up. They will save you about a 500-1000 bucks over finding a good set of 7000 series fenders.

Looks great Mattman. Thanks for posting a photo of it. I don’t see a floor shifter, so thinking it’s a Power-Shift? And which year?

Yup, I've got a really nice pair in the shed already.

Thank you, I have a 7045 I’m dreaming with. Already cut the cab off but I really want the original open station fender setup

The cab I removed was one of the nicer cabs that I have ever seen. I have been going back-and-forth about keeping it because I was going to use it on a different tractor but feel free to throw an offer at me. I don’t want to separate anything from the cab.

Thx for responses mattman and silvershoes.
I need left side rear, rear, and lower door glass, and roof (preferably metal).
Yes I am in Montana near Billings. Was out at Appleton WI last summer stopped at allstate's ag at Blackcreek but they didn't have anything.
I would have to see what shipping would be. Where are you two guys located. Could I PM you.
Thx

I might be able to fix/weld my door up adequately.
I'm new to this great forum and have really gotten into the old Allis's. I know I need to get hooked up on other threads but i also got a 7060 that may have spun rod bearing that need to get feedback on and a good old Gleaner CII I hope to have running next summer.

Yes, being out west it's harder to get parts. Not much for AC out here.

Cool factor Steve, they look awesome that way and many of these cabs are rotting out along the wheel wells now with age.

Ok well that would be ok with me, my 7040 is a great running tractor and I'm using it for hay and stuff but I think I want to make it open instead of finding a cab, I live in ohio and the weather just has taken a toll on the cab, unfortunately I'm the 3rd owner and it sat outside most of its life.
