Well it's 'finished', got the final bill from the 'contractor', who of course demands CASH.

Only took 5 MONTHS for the 5by8 foot wooden deck on stilts,vinyl decking and steel railing.
There's not enough time to type the KRAP wrong with it but the BIG one for me is...

drum roll please....

We could have replaced ALL FOURTEEN (14) windows in the house, which includes the 5 leaky basement ones for the same amount of Canuck Bucks AND windows would have been installed in 1-2 days.

sigh......

When's Spring ??

DEMANDS cash?  There's a lot wrong with it too?  What does your contract read like?

(Oral contracts aren't worth the paper they're written on, is what I'm driving at... Wink Pay them what it's worth IMO)

yeah, he also got 1 acre of prime farmland and a 4200sqft bldg for 200K, so I 'only' lost 300k in that deal.....3 D-14s, 7 imps, 6 trailers,.....
dang don't get me going.......
