| they were my favorite store when one was local , are they all just an on line thing now ? i would guess getting somthing shipped with them is also a thing of the past. hope grainger doesnt go that way we have one about 50 miles from me |

As far as I'm concerned, Good riddance to Poor customer relations. The one time I went into the store local to me they acted like since I wasn't one of there 100K/Yr customers, they couldn't be bothered with small time walk-in customers. Anything they would have, I can get from McMaster Carr or MSC and it will be at my door the next day and I don't have to deal with snotty A$$ wipes that need to learn their manners. ------------- If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere. I have a great local store, the lady at the front counter knows her stuff. If I need some odd screw/bolt for a pop machine or pinball machine I am working on they probably have it. Price is much, much cheaper than the local ACE hardware store for individual pieces along with a better selection. Prices for other items? Yeah, probably worth the money in gas to drive to the other side of town to Menards.

Son has shipped a few things through them for his skid loader attachments MYSELF - when they said they had heilacoils I needed , then checked and said they could have them in 2 days - Charged me $14 shipping for sending them by post - flat pack - would have said KEEP THEM but I had to prepay for the parts in store before they would commit to getting them in .
