I'm hoping there are some GURU's here that can lend a hand on my IPhone 16 plus. When I first got the 16 the lady that set it up for me was able to set up in the settings,,So I can use the Bluetooth in my hearing aids,AND,,ALSO use the speaker from the IPhone,,in other words have the Iphone announciate the incoming text or voice call over either the hearing Bluetooth or the speaker in the IPhone,,,,clear as mud,,,,??
In the last couple of weeks it has stopped annuciating to BOTH and now only announciates to the hearing aids.
I took IPhone to two different Verizon offices and one tech reset to anunciate only from the Bluetooth in my hearing aids. The other Tech changed phone to annunciate only thru the speaker and told me it was an "EITHER OR "
I know only enough about IPhones to get in bad trouble so am hoping someone here does.

I was thinking about going to a Verizon store and getting a free update but I forget when I am around one. Glad I haven't do that.

How to play music on speakers and headphones at the same time on iPhone?
How to share audio on iPhone?
  1. Use Bluetooth to connect the different devices for sharing the audio.
  2. For iPhones with iOS 13 or later versions, use the Audio Sharing feature to play the same audio on both devices simultaneously.
found this, well Google did,........'

The solution is a BFH in my humble opinion (or you could always just sell the 'phone).

Not had one for about 10 years now, never been less stressed!  The missus has one I use for essential calls/sat nav etc but if I ever have another 'phone it'll be just that, voice & text.

(I appreciate in your situation it's a little different as you're using it in conjunction with hearing aid & it might be pretty useful for that, but what price your sanity?)
