I just recently bought an 8050, and when trying to hook up our 13 shank IH 5500 chisel, I realized the Pioneer fittings on the chisel do not fit the 8050 couplers. What type of couplers does the 8050 have? Is there an adapter I could use?

HMMMMM ! I have 2 8070's and they both have pioneer female fittings. The 83 has the first design release while the 85 has the lock lever allowing pressurized hook/unhook. What number on you chisel fitting?....and are you sure they don't fit? Sometimes the 83 is is a t**d to connect.

The 8050 should have ISO couplers. Standard Pioneer couplers should mate up, but might be a bit loose.

Like 1/2” coupler on 8050 verses maybe either a 3/8” or a 3/4” on chisel??

Best way to connect hoses is with both remote levers in FLOAT and engine off.
