HI,

New member here.... I jointed in order to find info. on a Model S dozen, we are trying to bring back to life. Its a huge Gas 4 cly engine, made between 37-42. Very little ID on the machine that we can find. Just a big "S" on each side of the Rad. As the matter of fact we are guessing that it was made by Allis Chalmers.

Would anyone by change have info. on this machine, or can lead me to some place that does?

There is a picture of an S model, on page 347 of C.H. Wendell's book, The Allis Chalmers Story.

Certainly is a RARE machine these days. Belongs in a museum, I'd say! There's also a photo of a Model S with Baker dozer in the book "Classic Vintage Crawlers & Dozers Vol I". Interestingly, it has dual stacks, different from the Tractor Data photos.
