Transmission code E15. Manual says transmission coil temperature low 10f or below. It comes up at all temperatures but doesn't affect anything just has the alarm going off. What coil would it be referring to? Dealer hasn't been able to answer the question.

Error code E15 can happen when coil MC1 is cold,below 10°. Or,the sensor input line is shorted to+12 VDC. Or, the sensor input line is open. When looking at the valve body, where the coils are attached, MC1 is the third from the bottom on the front row of coils.

The actual transmission oil temperature sensor is located on or near the transmission oil filter head.
