hope I put this in the right place now. Is it fairly easy to repack the hydralic cylinders on a CA. I like to do the work myself

pretty easy to do... after you get the packing nut loose ... just pull it apart.... have you tried just tightening the packing nut ?  that can work if seal is loose and not old / hard/ cracked.

Thanks Steve(ill) looks fairly easy. I'll look at the manual while doing the repair and give update when done.
