I am trying to get my WD45 hydraulic ram cylinders to stop leaking. I have already put in a  Cylinder Packing Kit but now they leak where the two cylinders come together. I found there is what looks like a copper gasket on the ram end of the cylinder. I took it out of one side, mangling it a bit in the process and tried to fix it. I assume, by the way it looks, that it started life as a flat piece and when the two sided screw together, it creates a seal. Only I cannot find this part on any of my typical sites nor do I find it in the part manual. So, option one is to find it somewhere. Does anyone know where to find them? Option to is to put this one back in and add an O ring or two. Thoughts?

Thanks,
Stan

Throw it away. Clean all threads in the tubes with brake Kleen and air dry. Re-assemble with loctite, loctite hydraulic sealant, or any Hylomar type sealant smeared on the threads. Tighten tight and let sit for 24 hrs before use.
