| I guess the first logical question would be, why ?? If you aren't increasing the fuel delivery, why change the turbo ?? If you have a Rajay brand turbo, it may need replacement, as they weren't nearly as long lived as the Air research brand. An 8030 turbo would be a nice small change but NOT a bolt on. It is the same as 8050-8070-7080-7580-4W220 and it made for 220 flywheel HP right out of the box. |

An S200 is a great upgrade to those tractors, I've sold a few to guys that I set up their fuel systems on these. Much easier to fit on a 7000 series tractor lol! ------------- 210 "too hot to farm" puller, part of the "insane pumpkin posse". | So Ed,what is the improvement that the s200 does ,earlier boost? More total boost? I have boost gauges on 3 of my 7000s that do field work and I know they dont make a lot and it doesn’t come in till nearly 2200 |

| Factory turbos are designed to start building boost a 17-1800 RPM (except 7080/7580/8070) and the more RPM you have, the more boost there is. I had a customer 40 years ago that had a 7020 and HATED it !! compared to his trade-in 200 tractor. His dealership had worked on it with zero improvement. He brought it to me and within 30 minutes he now LOVED his 7020. Problem ?? injection pump was timed at 20 degrees BTDC instead of 18 degrees and I placed it at 16 degrees and boost came in much sooner and was a completely different tractor. |

Nothing is a direct bolt on replacement except the T04 replacements I sell. The S200 uses a V-Band exh outlet, so you have to fab up a new exh outlet/stack, but with a huge oval hole in the hood, it's a piece of cake. I also sell flange/clamp and elbow if needed. Sometimes that stuff is hard to find locally. The crossover pipe will need some modification, as this turbo sits a little different. The oil inlet can be made to work with slight tweaking, oil drain requires a little bit of grinding on the oil drain pipe flange and exh manifold if I remember right. The connecting air cleaner will require adapring up to the 3.5" hose connection. The S200 is a modern MAP groove turbo, which when paired with the correct size exh housing will spool up a lot quicker, for excellent response. ------------- 210 "too hot to farm" puller, part of the "insane pumpkin posse". Anybody know the AC stock engine’s NON-load (high idle rpms)& LOADED (500rpm decrease) turbo boost psi (ball-park #s)per the 7000 & 8000 series tractors? Thanks |

| High idle no-load boost is irrelevant. 8030 at full load 2300 RPM should be 13 to 14 psi boost......8050 at 2300 full load 15 to 16 psi boost......8070 at 2400 RPM should be 18 lbs boost. All at 60 to 70F degrees air temp. |

Picked up an s200 today of marketplace, bargain at $300 US. Pretty happy, as its brand new,guy bought the wrong one and wanted it gone.🙂

totally different S200 than I referred to, I'm referring to the S200SXE super core series.
