I've ran it for years in the reman pumps along with only premium red diesel. No biodiesel is run in my stuff any longer except on old Mack truck as it's and "on road" use truck.

Many swear by Howes. I've never used it. I was introduced to Power Service products nearly 50 years ago and have always had good results, so I see no reason to change.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

I run howes year around in everything on my place that's a diesel. Been doing it for about 8 years now. 99 percent of the time, we run straight #2, and rarely do we gel up. If we know it's going to get bitter cold, and we think to plan ahead, we'll add a little #1 to tractors that we'll use during the cold snap. I like stanadyne conditioner too, but howes is just more readily available everywhere.

Defender is different than treat. It's more of a cleaner

Power Service is the only fuel additive recommended by Cummins.  Have used atf and two stroke oil also.

Like the idea of two stroke as it is designed to lubricate the rings.
