The #7 is not as good a mower as the later 80 (and 82) series which had significant improvements including:

3/4" instead of 5/8" thick bar.

Much heavier housing surrounding the gear box.

Ball bearings instead of bushings in the bar hinges.

Having said that, it could be worth a few bucks to the right person if it is in excellent shape with little wear and it has a straight cutbar.

My opinion.

A complete, nice shape, never sat outside #7 with all the parts to mount it to a certain model of tractor might bring a couple hundred around here. If they've been outside any, you just have to outbid the scrap man. As stated above most folks want the newer improved models.
