I was fortunate to get 4 new Bullet style plow shares for my 70 series plow that I pull with my 190 XT. Part number stamped on the back is 341396. Takes a funny shaped plow bolt, maybe a 7/16”x2”? I have my dealer trying to find them but was hoping someone here would assist me that will have better knowledge of what the style, size, and best place to purchase them? Let’s face it, most all the knowledgeable AC parts guys at dealers are long gone. But there are a lot a guys on here that know this stuff by memory. Thanks in advance
Robbie

11/32” according to my digital caliber so closer to 3/8” measuring across the threads of the old bolt

Many of the NOS "Bullet-Blade" plow shares I've had had a bolt hole the had a flat relief and a diamond shaped hole under that. Basically a 2 point bolt. I don't think I have any left and they may be hard to find as nothing in generic hardware would use that special bolt.
From what I can get looking at the parts book, I think you want to find  341900 which is superseded by 346907, these would be 3/8" bolts. This may or may not be the bolt you're looking for.  If you need 7/16" bolts for "stoney" shares that number should be, 348293.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.

I’m trying to post a picture but the file size is too big. The head of the bolt is slightly bigger than a 1/2”. The shoulder that the bolt rest in is to keep it from turning is oblong. Not sure how else to describe it?

I think these are called clipped head bolts. A company called AFT Fasteners has them available in several sizes.

I looked on AFT's website and I'm not seeing a bolt like I need. Will call them tomorrow. Now that I have a AC part number and a picture that is a huge help.
Thanks Mike

I never was around AC plows, mostly IH, the bolts for the shares were ‘reverse thread’. Instead of ‘lefty loosey righty tighty, it’s lefty tighty righty loosey.

I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

Bolts were rusted in place from sitting in the dirt for many years. I had no choice but to cut them off. The nuts were rounded off. I bought this plow about 4 years ago and it needed shares at that time.

I guess it wasn't official when I responded with the correct part number.
Rob: How many do you need? I had always furnished the bolts when I sold shares. I found I still have a bunch of the 3/8" size available. I also have the 7/16" size available.
Is the Page County fair going to have my class (turbo Tractor) at the pull on the 20th?

Paul you did have the correct part number. Once Mike posted a picture of the bolt and the box with the part number it confirmed that. Wasn’t doubting you just wanted visual confirmation of the odd ball bolt so I knew what to look for. Unsure about the classes at the moment but I will be glad to find out for you. I’m not pulling my XT anymore as I refuse to drill and install cross bolts in my factory turbo elbow to satisfy the new rules.
Send me a pm with a price on the bolts, I would like to get at least 20 to have some spares. Replacing all 4 shares, 4 bolts per share.
