I have a very nice one of these coming up for sale. It runs well and everything works. I have to blast an NOS 48" deck shell and paint orange, and install the new arbors, bearings, rollers, and roller bar across the back. All OEM Simplicity parts which are brand new. Engine is a 20hp Kohler Command Pro and runs very well. Sheet metal is very straight and the mower really has been taken care of but the deck is rusted out being replaced with the new shell. All hydraulics, power steering, and PTO work well and as they should without leaks. It does need a seat replaced from exposure.

Don't know a price and just fishing for interest at this time. The owner has two diesel powered Simplicity Legacy mowers and this one is surplus to their needs. This mower has had routine annual service and repairs at the implement dealer I help out since purchased new there. I want to say it's an early 2000's tractor.

PM me with serious expression of interest, but I don't have a clue as far as price.

Well I am fond of these little machines and watch around for them- this one sounds like a dandy,, the price on them seems to settle around $1000-- $1200;

I actually think they are going to retain it now. One of the Legacy mowers w/Lombardini diesel started giving problems on Friday but I don't know anything further.

That SunStar really is a nice mower. I mowed my shop property residence and it does a nice job even with the deck rotted out.

I bought one not running at a local auction a month ago. Haven't had time to see what all it needs, but it looks like a nice upgrade from the 720, mine has a 60" shaft drive deck, and a front dozer blade. Like to learn more about them, nice having power steering, my wife will like that.

I luv the looks of a 720, they are good , but you + her will luv the Sunstar; nice hydro, easy controls - my first one had a 60 inch deck, was good on the flat- only one place in my yard is flat, but had to becareful in the road ditch ,,got wedged in one a time or too, anyways,, the 48 inch works great for me now,, they are sweet machines!
