My grandfather's WD and WD45 both have a hand clutch throw out connected to the snap coupler. Also a rubber bumper for the lever when forward.

Lots of rocks here. This system kicked out the hand clutch when you hit a rock. Better (?) than the snap coupler unhitching.

Was this an Allis part or after market? Any one have literature on this? I'll see if I have photo.

I think it must have been aftermarket.  The 45 I acquired had it and this is in KS.  I removed it since the tractor is only used on a brush hog.  I'm sure someone here knows the answer.

Hey kevin, if you look, there is a previous thread of this subject. It is not aftermarket but for reasons unknown, it is in the plow parts book.

I have one and took it off. Cool idea in principle, but too sensitive in plowing my fields

I guess that it makes sense that it's in the plow book as that is it's real purpose.....to release the clutch when a rock is encountered while plowing.

Those "Kickouts" are adjustable for sensitivity. If adjusted correctly it won't alter the "Traction-Booster" function.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

I have the kit hanging in the barn. It's never been installed. I bought it from another member here but never installed it because our ground is all sand.
