I’m wanting to trade planters and I am wondering if my xt can handle a front fold white planter 12row. I don’t use liquid so I don’t worry about that but the only things that worry me are if the lift arms will handle it and I’ve heard that the micro switches can be a bear on them. I have seen a few that only have the two instead of four main wheels without fertilizer and am curious. I have a 7060 I would use but just in case I need to use the xt can I get by, thanks for your input

I don't know the rating but my 190 struggled to pick up 4000 lbs on pallet forks. The front got real light.A 190 dosent have any micro switches it's all mechanical.

Front end weights will take care of that. I don't know what the "rated" lifting power was on an XT. Don't think they provided that info back then. The model 200 will lift more than an XT with the cylinders positioned differently.

I’ve read that the 200 had 50% more capacity at 4600lbs so I assume the xt is around 3000 capacity. As to the micro switches they are on the planter because front fold whites the main frame wheels twist as it folds and have been told that they can give fits and leave you unable to fold or unfold.. I have front weights I just don’t want to put any undue stress that the tractor won’t handle if I ever need to use it on the planter
