I think I've decided to add a new coating to the steering wheel. I tested plasti-dip and rustoleum pro bed liner. They both have qualities that I like (bed liner a bit thicker), but the plasti-dip seems less sturdy (after a few days drying). The bedliner material is definitely tougher. Plasti-dip slightly more rubbery. I'm a little worried about a plain paint coating. Anybody used bedliner (or other coating)?

After another day of drying, the bedliner material is only a little better than the plasti-dip :( Both fairly easy to rub off. ------------- 1952 CA13092 |

I have filled cracks with body putty.. sanded as DSeries4 said and painted black with enamel paint. ------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s. |
