Does the allis wd have a hold position for the 3 point. Was trying to use the no5 mower and it was either going up or down. I read on an older post that this has to do with the 3 point hold function?

Yes it does. The Operators manual does a great job of explaining just how all the screws are to be set for different hydraulic functions. ------------- If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere. Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

| When the linkage is adjusted and set-up properly for "HOLD" position work, the hydraulic lever will have a detent at about the half-way point on the quadrant. There is a large decal on the battery box side that tells you what to do to get the HOLD position working as does the Operators manual. |

| ....and most leak off as you use it so it's not like you can set and forget. It is NOT like a depth control on a real 3 point. |
