The gear oil in the 6 foot Woods finish mower resembles something that comes out of the rear of the local Canada Geese.  LOL

I want to change it.  Only thought for now  is to pull the fill plug and hoist the mower up on it's side with the front loader.

Any suggestions on a better way?  Confused

i have used a Rose Gun.. basically looks like a grease gun without a grease tube.. Stick the hose into the fill port and pull back on the rod and it SUCKS the oil out.. Works good on oil or gear lube.. Not so good if it is THICK  or grease... If your seals dont leak and it still has gear lube ( instead of grease) this may work... If the fill is on the SIDE, then i have used a copper tube bent into a  sweeping 90 degree  to get into the hole.
