I am planning on putting the belt pulley back on my wd45 as it is original to the tractor. The trouble is I remember it seemed to leak at the shaft just behind the pulley itself. I know I can get a new external gasket for the pulley and I need to do so, but what does the inside consist of? Seems like there is another seal that lives in the housing that the belt pulley assembly slides into. If I remember correctly it is a strip of cork about a 1/4" thick x 1/2" wide that come flat and you bend it to fit in a groove. This is my memory. #7 seal and #8 cork seal. I think we have them but also still available from agco
