Hi everyone,

Anyhow I picked up a 54' WD45 about 18 months ago as a project.  Well anyhow I brought it home, got it running, and then drove it 7 miles from my buddies to my house before I dismantled it.  It was puffing oil on the way home so I figured I'd redo the head and put new rings in it (eventhough it was probably only the rings being stuck compressed on the cylinder from being parked).  I did check the bearings and they were in good shape.  It wasn't that visually appealing so that is part of the reason why I dismantled it.  I ended up painting 90% of it so far, with rustoleum rusty metal primer and van sikel  (?sp) paint.  Now its time for me to put it back together, but I probably forgot the assembly of a few things that I dismantled.  If you guys don't mind, I may ask a few questions on assembly?
Take care,
Brad

First off, Welcome to the forum. I'm sure there will be many that can give you some advice as you go to put it back together. Keep the tires on the floor and the engine in front and most of it will be a piece of cake. The rest will not be as much as you think and shouldn't be too hard. If you have manuals, they will be a god send for a lot of the questions. God Bless.
