8000s had Bosch tips.  Maybe the 4W used Bosch as well?  I don't know much about the 731 engine.  I would ask around at some local diesel rebuild shops.

I've gotten to where I'm having to clean and reuse a lot of these old obsolete nozzles. The old days of just replacing the tip automatically have come to an end. Many are not available anymore. As long as the tip is not pitted or holes damaged, they can be saved.

Thanks Ed, my injection shop is hoping they can bring them back.  When he tested two of them in my presence they sprayed a stream of fuel, never seen that before when testing any nozzle, he said to me, they must be really worn badly.  Got my fingers crossed he can bring them back to life for me.

Possible it uses the same injectors as an 844 industrial engine?  might be able to locate some.  back in 2010 i had the injectors on my HD16 gone through and they called no parts available,  they asked about some machining procedure as last resort and i said do it cause iv got no other choice. it ran well till the crank broke

Got my fingers crossed that the shop can get them to work.  Found three tips on ebay, got them coming, however I am not holding my breath they will be what I need, and if they are it still leaves three short.
