Rim width, tractor weight, lug height, lug sharpness, tire speed, etc, etc, etc ALL EFFECT what is the best tire pressure for your tractor. Let us know where you wind up !!!

There is no "one size fits all". Every track is different. Weight changes will affect the optimum tire pressure. You have to look at your tire track after pulling away from the sled, dipped in = too much, humped up = too little. Experience is your best guideline.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

For us big heavy tractors, like 11,000, 12,000 etc, we kinda use the generic rule of 1.5 psi per 1000 lbs wt. So my 11,000 tractor generally runs 16.5, adjust from there, this is radials, but may be a starting point for anyone. So a light 5000# would run 7.5psi. etc.
