I have a 1950s B advertisement booklet that shows a late B with disk plow.  I appears to be wearing some front wheel weights in the illustration.  Maybe they used an old photo but they loook like weights to me.

Charlie, With no generator, battery, and possibly no starter, and the cast front wheels, I would bet it's a 38. Find out the tractor number.

Rick, That add shows the AM-3684-1 front wheel weights. Look at the link.

Neat, I have seen the chin weights and axle weight for sale but not those.   Thanks.  I always learn stuff on here.

The straight tall adjustable front axle first became available in 1940. So did the 5 hole front wheel with the separate hub. The front spindle itself would accept the earlier cast or the rivited wheel/hub. This B like many others is made up with parts that are not all matching in vintage.

Thanks for pointing that out Ken. I din't even notice the front axle. Looks like a good deal for somebody with new tires and good rims. Tony is only a little over an hour away.

I can't tell if this would be a '37 or not.
Sheet metal kind of looks like like the old style??

Yep, me too. The 37's had the manifold on the right and the mag on the left with the flathead Wakesha engine.
