I built this 3 point with a few goals in mind. It must be easily removable. No modifications or welds to the tractor. Can't spend much money. So here is what I came up with. The arm assembly is from a tow bar I had left over from an old truck. It was rated at 6000 lbs so I figured it would be strong enough. The brace the arms bolt to are 2x2 thick wall box tubing I got from a friend. The brace is secured to the draw bar by 1/2" leaf spring U bolts.

Eventually I want to replace the chains with side links but I don't want to spend tje money right now. I have a grand total of $70 wrapped up in this. $30 for the 3rd arm. $22 in lift arm ends. The rest was spent on hardware, welding rods, drill bits ect.

The holes in the sides are where the safety will connect using u bolts. Sway control can be obtained by tightening the vertical bolts clamping the arm in place while still allowing the arms to freely move up and down. The assembly looks crooked because I do not have the draw bar tightened down to the hanger. I am currently working on the third arm bracket.
I am hoping its strong enough. If not, I guess I can always build something new.

When you move it forward run a couple brackets from the crossbar to the elephant ears for stability. Looks good.
