Don't think you'll have enough spline length to do that. Maybe, but I don't think so.

#1 Why would you want to do this?
#2 the WD/WD45 lift cylinders attached to a separate arm than the actual lift arms.
#3 if you are looking for extra lift capacity, there was a kit to add external lift cylinders.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

paul b #3 yes i seen one of those kits thinking i could make some brackets to fit on the axle tube mounting with longer studs  , dont remeber what the mounting looked like onthe kit that goes on the tractor side , if it bolted to the axle or some where easle, will try to get out to the wd and measure the splines and weasure the d17 splines .         are they tapered ?

never mind not nearly long enought lenght on the d17 splines so  i will make the parts like the kit i know some one had a picture of it not long ago but a part number would be good if some one knows what it is so i can look it up,  and may be locate one or fab the parts

The arms that bolt to the lift arms for the extra capacity D17 package are very much like the bolt on pieces that the forward control rods attach to for front mount cultivators.  So that might be a place to start look for parts.
