Hey just wanted to warn everyone to be careful if ordering fuses ect from amazon. Not from personal experience but in the video linked it shows 2 out of 3 companies selling faulty fuses. The first one was a 2 amp 32 v fuse going all the way from 2, 4, 6, 8 to finally 10 amp before blowing. Hope yall are doing well and staying warm not by electrical fire.

One thing to note is there are different types of fuses (aside from good and poor quality).  If you buy time-delay fuses, they very well can handle several times their rated current for a fixed amount of time.  If you buy fast acting fuses, they should blow pretty quickly when you exceed their rated current by any substantial amount.  I would imagine most applications on our tractors would spec a fast-acting fuse.  Time delay is usually for circuits with motors or other draws that have a large inrush on start up.

Tube guitar amps all use “slow blow “ fuses.
