Books say type A atf as per 1961. Can I use hytrans? Or just the atf? Thank you. Dana

hytrans -  ATF fluid -  10wt - or steering fluid from the auto store...

If you use the ATF i would use type A or F... The newer Dextron and MERCON fluids are synthetic and lots of addatives... Old tractor seals might not like that.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.
