Going thru my 50 wd and found the steering housing on the front to be dry.  I have manuals but cannot find what the capacity is.  Any help would be appreciated.  Going to NAPA to see what they have in NGLI 00 or 000  I do have 85/140  Thanks

If it's dry, it must leak.

I, personally, use John Deere Cornhead grease for any gearbox that leaks.

Just fill it until you have the gear covered when looking through the inspection plate, like it says in the operators manual.

-------------
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

I think it's hold about a gallon or so. I fill mine up until it starts to coem out the front  hand crank hole. Of course then it leaks out there for awhile.
