My D14 loader tractor is getting some new gauges along with some other long awaited improvements. No need for the flooded and broken boost gauge so I plan on removing the thin line from the small hydraulic block behind the dash and putting in a plug if possible. Is the line fitting NPT or 5/16 SAE or something different? Anyone done this. Thanks.

Someone will cringe when reading this , but there's a BOLT in that block on my D-14. it's been there long before I bought it in 2000. I'd have to look(brr and wet here) but think maybe a 1/4-28 ( fine thread ).
I KNOW that line is STEEL, to handle the pressure, saw it in a box marked 'Troy parts' last year....
