Working on reassembling a jig saw puzzle.  Tractor was bought in pieces. Story goes that it was taken to a Deere dealer for alternator issue.  After $1500 it was fixed and driven about half way home when it quit moving.  Hauled back to dealer and trans was disassembled to find 6 bolts sheared off on a drive hub.  Was half assembled to make it movable with most all of the trans put in a box.  Owner sold it as is.  May have been sold 2 more times before we got it.  It was disassembled in all the wrong ways so it’s been a challenge!

Tractor details are it’s a maroon belly 7060 power shift with the newer dash.  Sorry I don’t have the sn handy also has the big ps filter.

Questions are…

How many temp sensors are on trans and read end?
There is a purpleish wire coming out of the harness(the one coming from front of cab) under the floor boards with a flat spade.  Roughly 2 feet long from end of conduit.  Where does it go?

Figured out trans pressure wire, the temp sensor on rh side behind aux fuel tank, the one for diff filter, and one for fuel gauge.

Also don’t have rh flashers…not sure if that is connected to this wire some how that we are missing.

Have an older 7040 to compare to but that wire isn’t in that harness.

Probably have more questions as we go forward with this “get to know your tractor” project!

No I think it's the rh signal wire. We have the filter and pressure wires figured out and that schematic agrees with what we had.

It’s dark and I’m partially colorblind.  Will look again tonight. Could also be the optional aux outlet.

I think the wire in question is for ps filter.  It is clearly purple.  The schematic linked above doesn’t show the power shift filter wire.  Can’t get any of the sensor wires to turn on the warning lights but have found a connector on front of cab crumbling with extremely corroded terminals. Need to get a connector body and clean terminals before more diagnostics can be done.

Certainly, so long as it is pertinent to this topic.
