I got pressed steel wheels from a combine and want to paint them orange in the center and silver on the rim .  I was wondering the best procedure for doing is this .

When I did my D17 front rims I sprayed the centers first. After a few days I taped the centers off. Then sprayed the outer rim.

Mask off the middle, paint the silver, then mask off the silver and paint the orange.  Reasoning is that silver is one of the best covering paints there is. Orange, however is the worst covering paint color, and will take many coats, just to cover what's beneath it. Masking a wheel takes a lot of time, too... HTH

you can spray the orange... I do the "hammered silver" with a brush.. Resembles galvanized finish..

Like them all, but love the "B"s.
