The A430 Black gleaner corn head is designed to be shipped horizontal(laying flat) or vertical( upright). Most US state's DOT allows trailer width up to 102" (8'-6") as non wide-load so can transport day/night hours within LOG hours. So if the 430's length of 105 or 113 inches is an issue, it can be positioned on trailer vertically. To do so, both lower rear jack stands will mount for horizontal or vertical positioning. In vertical position, a loader/forklift of some sort is necessary to load/unload it into/out-of that position on trailer. And then wooden support blocks under the corn head's upper throat frame can help eliminate/minimize any potential tin work damaged.  And,, going to want a minimum of 4 chains to secure/stabilize corn head's 4 corners to trailer. Or, snouts could be removed & stored elsewhere?
Transport by Sea-land container ~ vertical position. If height is an issue, then remove snouts.

hang it over on the ditch side and drive.

If hiring a trucking company, best bet is have the snouts removed and the header left flat for transport. Im not comfortable going up on its back unless there is a mating header and they can go face to face.
