im going to a plow day were i will have the only allis chalmers tractor... there were be 1 allis chalmers, like 5 john deeres, and like 10 olivers.looks like i am going to be the only collecter there that knows what kind of tracter to collect. im kinda ok with the deeres but the olivers they just need to leave.lol.i will be taking my grandpas wd45 w/ 3 bottom snap coupler plow. i would take my unstylled wc but it needs a part that i have on its way. and i would've brought my wd wide front but i dont have a plow for it.

Jim just show them green tractors what a real tractor is!
Put the plow down 8" and run the WD45 in third gear and plow around them. lol
Have fun and be careful. Don

Don't understand your attitude toward the Olivers?  Compared to a JD, they were more comfortable to ride, steered better, had smoother power with the six cylinder engines, and had a foot clutch and live power power take off.   If you had run both of them for any length of time,(I have), you would throw rocks at the John Deere.   Next to an Allis, I prefer Olivers.

not bad but i have never drove a oliver but i have drove a jd. i coouldnt plow in third my plow was set to low and the adjustment was frozen up and all rusted. so i was gowing about 12 in. deep in 1 st gear. darn i got passed up. it plowed good though but there was a bunck of crap in the bean field and it wasnt helping any. all the gunk made a 4020 john deere do a wheelie pulling a 5 bottom mounted plow.
