We have a very big Christmas display (and Halloween too) at our house. My wife made this for me. It is about 56" tall and she hand painted the whole thing. She has a lot of time in it. We set it up Friday.

I have a great wife!!!

She is very talented, but she bought plans for it.

She laid out a sheet of 3/4" AC plywood on sawhorses and put a huge sheet of carbon paper on the plywood, then laid out the plans on top of that. She uses a "stylus" (looks like a pen with a tiny metal ball on the end) to trace the pattern. Then she removes the plans and carbon paper and goes through with a paint stick outlining all the lines. After that, she starts painting.

As I said, she is very talented and VERY patient. She has put up with me for 46 years of marriage!!!
