Does anyone have a sn# for a gear reduction starter for a 7010. I was told an 8010 starter would be what I'm looking for. Thanks

I've installed several Nippondenso #028000-6780 reduction starters on AC 301 engines in tractors and all seem to be doing their jobs.

DB Electrical    Kingsport, Tennessee. Have bought a couple of these starters from them. Great price. Very satisfied.

Thanks Doc, I checked the website but they don't list one for a 7010, will one for a 6080 fit.

Interesting. I just bought a starter/ solenoid from DB Electrical via Amazon a couple weeks ago for my JD lawn tractor (32 yrs old). Starting issue resolved. I'm guessing I had a dead spot in the armature . Good quality .
