Anyone have experience removing PTO driven gear and shaft.   I need to replace bearing on intermediate gear and shaft. In order to do this manual states to remove PTO driven gear and shaft.  I have removed snap ring and trying to use bump hammer to pull shaft and PTO bearing but it will not budge.  wondering if anyone has any ideas or has done this before?

It takes a BIG slidehammer. I had one (only one) that I did have to heat the rear outer race quite hot, let cool and then slide hammer it. The race was junk from doing that, but that's what it took to get it pulled.
