Got the new shifter boot on last night. Now I want to change the fluid. Can I use hy/tran, or does anyone recommend something different?

As long as it meets the 821 spec, you should be ok.

Thanks Clay. The 821 spec is what I was needing. Knew there was something special, just couldn't remember what it was.

I use Deere Hy-Tran in my D17. Almost any modern hydraulic fluid will meet and exceed the original D17 oil spec and quality.
