When it’s time to change out that heavy old grease/oil that is in them, what do you recommend to use?

I put 80-90 in mine. Not sure the old 140 will drain unless heated up. Had mine apart in 1974 for a bearing in trans. Think I dug a lot of the goop out by hand before gasoline bath. That was a long time ago so memory could be off.

I run SAE140 GL-4 in mine. Not the easiest to find and takes a lot of oil (12 gal I seem to recall).
