Knowing which cable you have is the first thing. Small or larger diameter, Especially on the remote levers.

It is a later serial number 7040.

Sandy Lake looked it up per the serial number.

My question is do I just remove the side panel on inboard side of console ?
And
Which bolts/nuts if any do I leave in place ?

Thanks in advance

Taking the side panel off isn't really necessary. Remove the three long screwdriver head bolts that hold the two halves of the top cover plate. Get the cable disconnected from the rear of the tractor at the hydraulic valve stack. You can either disconnect the cable ends from the levers in the cab or pull the old cable into the cab and unscrew it from the end on the lever. Open the rear window and let the cable go out the window while you unscrew it from the end.
