It looks like the electric motor that rotates the discharge chute on the blower for my 720 has gone out. Any recommendation on a replacement? I assumed I'd have to have it rebuilt but I came across an aftermarket made by Flip Manufacturing that looks like the same thing except for a slightly different electrical connection.

There was a thread on Simpletractors.com that contained the information  you are looking for, if my memory serves.  ~ Orangeman

Window regulator motor from early 70's chevy car works.  Does have a different two wire hook up and may have to run ground wire to frame.  I changed the wire ends to the female spade terminals and worked well, didn't loosen with vibrations.  Did it on the snow blower I had, IBWD Mike has it now.

I got the wrong side and think just swapped the gear head from one to the other.  The left one is the salvage yard item.

I think it was a rear window motor from a 70's Jeep that was the perfect swap.  Somethin' like that........Confused

I used a LH window motor out of a Buick Regal quite a few years ago.  Only had to drill one new hole in the blower mounting for the motor. For me it was a very reasonable replacement option.
